LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES
Centered around our well-stocked Beit Midrash, Kedma has tons of formal and informal learning opportunities.
Note that the ones listed below are in addition to all the learning opportunities provided by JLIC, Hillel, Chabad, Meor, and other organizations.

TUESDAY NIGHT TORAH
Tuesday-night Torah (TNT) is a beloved learning event where we gather for free pizza and a selection of student-led chaburot on topics of their choice. Talk to the Education Chair if you'd like to give one, and pay attention to Facebook/WhatsApp announcements for timing!

SCHOLARS-IN-RESIDENCE
Thanks to the hard work of the Education Chair, Kedma has many scholars-in-residence every semester. Whether they come for only an afternoon or they stay for Shabbat, they're a mainstay of the Kedma experience. See here for a list of the 150+ different scholars we've had since 2007!

LONDON KOLLEL
The London Kollel (sponsored by Rebbetzin London in memory of Rabbi Yechiel London zt"l) is a college learning program where students commit to learn a certain number of hours a week in exchange for monetary and spiritual schar. The whole kollel learns together once a week, and it's a great way to get involved!

Feel free to reach out to Sahar Farajun or Rav Josh Lehman with any questions.

GEMARA BEKIUT
Kedma has student-led Amud Yomi and Daf Yomi (shown) groups. During the semester we would take turns preparing and giving the daf to each other. When corona and summer break came, we would take turns writing summaries for the daf for each other. And since many of us use his shiur to prepare, we decided to sponsor Shabbat Daf 100 of Rav Aryeh Lebowitz's shiur!

TANAKH HAVURA
Every Wednesday night, a group of students gather for an in-depth shiur on a Tanakh topic and an accompanying dessert. Recent topics include Melakhim, Ovadya, Iyov, and Tehillim.

JLIC
Our amazing JLIC couple always have some Torah to share with the community. Whether coming to a lunch and learn, shiur on Shabbos, or stopping by Sunday mornings for Cinnamon Torah Crunch, there's nothing like learning with Rav Josh and Rikki.

GEMARA B'IYUN
Kedma members comprise the strongest contingent to Rav Avigdor Rosensweig's online Gemara Iyun shiur. It meets twice a week on Zoom, and recent masechtot include Gittin, Pesachim, and Shabbat. Check out the shiurim archive on YUTorah!
